A properly designed product and mould can save considerable cost. This means that we can develop everything in-house. A quality product is achieved when skill is applied from the beginning until the end of the production process. This naturally starts with the design.
Sova-Plastics has all the software it needs to create designs in 2-D and 3-D. The product design is then optimised in order to create a mould. The environmental impact is kept to a minimum thanks to Sova-Plastics' environmental impact study on each plastic product.
With over 35 years of experience in the development of injection moulding products we can quickly analyse product feasibility or implement further developments. We also work closely with our illustrators to develop a product, starting from a sketch; to suit the customers' requirements and wishes.
Besides product development we can also provide customers with operational products during the design/development phase. We do this using additive manufacturing / 3-D printing.
Additive manufacturing or 3-D printing allows us to analysis the desired plastic, together with the required form and its applications. This speeds up the design process and keeps tooling costs to a minimum. This entire process means that we can work quickly and efficiently and proceed to the finished article.
At Sova-Plastics we have over 35 years of experience in the construction and maintenance of moulds and therefore have all the knowledge and apparatus in-house to carry out repairs and maintenance internally. By investing continuously in its equipment Sova-Plastics can also produce its own mould components and optimise existing components. We can also develop moulds ranging from 1-piece to up to 128-piece from a product design. In this way we can ensure that quality is maintained at all times.
A good sketch is all that is required to start the product development process together with the customer. Working closely with you our design bureau will transform your wishes and requirements into a proper 3-D design. We do this with the aid of the integrated CAD/CAM system SolidWorks.
Our focus in-house is on production. When it comes to moulds Sova-Plastics work with reliable domestic and foreign partners. We use sophisticated robots and innovative technology. Our staff are continually trained to operate these hi-tech machines in the best possible manner.
Our moulds are designed using state-of-the-art equipment and technical services. Whichever mould you are looking for, we can provide it. Single face moulds/tools or multicomponent tools and moulds... A trial design is made for every mould. This ensures that the design process runs smoothly. Sova-Plastics' moulds are always of the highest quality thanks to the skills of our precision engineers and the fact that they follow additional training whenever appropriate.
